Libiao Robotics opens overseas headquarters in Singapore

Libiao Robotics, a provider of automated warehouse storage systems and robotics, has opened a new office in Singapore. The Singapore facility will henceforth act as headquarters for its overseas (that is, non-China) business.

The new office is situated in Perennial Business City in Jurong Lake District, the largest commercial district outside of Singapore’s city centre and dubbed “Singapore’s next central business district”.

Medline facility becomes AutoStore’s 300th installation in North America

AutoStore, maker of the most widely-used warehouse automated storage and retrieval system, says it has “surpassed 300 installations across North America”.

The 300th system, located at Medline’s new site in Aurora, Colorado, marks a full-circle moment for AutoStore.

Dexterity and Kawaski partner to produce ‘world’s first intelligent robot arm’

Dexterity, a specialist in physical AI and robotics, has agreed a strategic partnership with Kawasaki Heavy Industries, one of the world’s largest robotic arm manufacturing companies, to produce high-performance robot arms for Dexterity’s hardware platform: the Mech.

The Mech is a roving, two-armed robot designed from the ground up to embody Physical AI in industrial applications. And it is being described by the companies as “the world’s first intelligent robot arm designed for warehouse applications”.

AutoStore technology powers next-generation robotic vertical farm

Warehouse automation specialist AutoStore and vertical farming company OnePointOne have launched an innovative vertical farming system – supplying Whole Foods with fresh greens grown faster, smarter, and closer to customers.

In a warehouse outside Phoenix, thousands of herbs and vegetables are growing in robot-powered bins, moving smoothly through a towering, Rubik’s cube-like grid. This is Opollo Farm: a fully automated vertical farming system built by AutoStore and OnePointOne.

Robots move crops through a precision-controlled environment, adjusting their position to deliver the perfect balance of water and nutrients. The result? Foxconn to partner with Robust.AI to develop warehouse automation robots

Robust.AI, a developer of AI-driven warehouse automation, has agreed a strategic manufacturing partnership with Hon Hai Technology Group, also known as Foxconn, the world’s largest electronics manufacturing services provider, to expand production of its flagship Carter multi-function collaborative robotics platform.

The partnership will enable Robust.AI to rapidly fulfill increasing demand from its growing international customer base and strengthen the resilience of its supply chain and manufacturing operations.
