Dematic, a subsidiary of the global intralogistics provider KION Group, has agreed a partnership to “transform the supply chain industry” through accelerated cloud innovation.

Skyports partners with Park24 to develop vertiport infrastructure

Air taxi vertiport developer and operator, Skyports, and Japan’s largest parking lot and car sharing operator, Park24, have signed an agreement to explore the development and integration of vertiport infrastructure of “advanced air mobility” (AAM) into Park24’s parking and car sharing network.

The agreement also involves partners including Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance, a Japanese general insurance company, and Kanematsu Corporation.

Embark and US Xpress partner to build nationwide terminal network for autonomous trucks

Embark Trucks, a developer of autonomous technology for the trucking industry, says US Xpress has joined the Embark Partner Development Program and plans to add its terminals to the Embark Coverage Map.

This partnership marks a significant milestone by adding a fleet’s properties into an autonomous truck developer’s transfer point network.

Embark pioneered the transfer point model in 2019 when the company unveiled its first sites in Los Angeles and Phoenix. Transfer points are used to move freight from driverless, long-haul trucks to driver-enabled trucks for first- and last-mile delivery. Wisk and Skyports partner to develop infrastructure for autonomous aircraft

Wisk Aero and Skyports are partnering to integrate autonomous, electric, vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft operations at vertiports and other ground-based infrastructure.

The partnership marks the first collaboration between a vertiport developer-operator and an autonomous eVTOL developer in the US.

Wisk Aero is an advanced air mobility company and developer of an all-electric, self-flying air taxi in the US, while Skyports is a developer and operator of vertiports (landing sites for eVTOL aircraft). Kodiak Robotics and US Xpress to pilot new autonomous truck route

Kodiak Robotics, a developer of self-driving trucks, has teamed up with US Xpress, one of America’s largest carrier fleets, to launch Level 4 autonomous freight service between Dallas-Fort Worth and Atlanta using Kodiak’s self-driving trucks.

US Xpress will become the first cornerstone truckload partner in Kodiak’s Partner Deployment Program, working hand-in-hand with Kodiak to deploy self-driving technology.

Geek+ and Bosch Rexroth extend partnership and implement advanced moving robot

Geek+, an autonomous mobile robot maker, and Bosch Rexroth, a provider of drive and control technology, have signed a strategic channel agreement for North America in March 2022.

The partnership has already borne fruit in the form of a unique version of Geek+’s MP1000R moving robot augmented with the laser localization software ROKIT Locator by Bosch Rexroth.
