SprutCAM X robot integrates JAKA cobots into its robot components library

SprutCAM Tech, the developer of the all-in-one CAD/CAM/OLP system SprutCAM X Robot, is expanding its technological partnerships with manufacturers of CNC machines and industrial robots.

The online Library of robot components has been updated to include digital twins of the popular JAKA cobots from the well-known Chinese manufacturer.

The current inventory of supported equipment includes the following JAKA cobot models: Zu 3, Zu 5, Zu 7, Zu 12, Zu 18, Pro 16, and MiniCobo. ABB extends no-code Wizard Easy Programming to industrial robots

ABB Robotics has extended the scope of its free Wizard Easy Programming software to include its six-axis industrial robots powered by an OmniCore controller in addition to its collaborative robots.

This makes ABB the first robot manufacturer to offer an easy-to-use, no-code programming tool for cobots and six-axis industrial robots, lowering barriers to automation for new users and offering ecosystem partners and integrators an efficient tool to support their customers.

Mitsubishi Electric and Visual Components form joint venture for 3D simulators

Mitsubishi Electric has recently announced that it has partnered with Visual Components headquartered in Espoo, Finland in a joint venture company, named ME Industrial Simulation Software Corporation, to develop and sell 3D simulators for manufacturing applications.

Mitsubishi Electric and Visual Components hold 70 percent and 30 percent stakes respectively in the company, which began operating on November 1.
