Plus One Robotics launches new depalletizing solution

Plus One Robotics, a developer of AI-powered robotic vision for material handling, in partnership with beRobox, a specialist in modular mobile robotics, has launched DepalOne.

DepalOne is described as a “turnkey depalletizing solution designed to bring fast, flexible automation to modern warehouses without the need for facility modifications or extended downtime”.

RoboForce launches ‘Titan’ AI robot after raising $15 million in funding

RoboForce has launched “Titan”, its first AI robot built for real-world industrial deployment in demanding outdoor environments.

The company says Titan is powered by domain intelligence, tight AI-hardware co-optimization, and highly modular hardware, and has the strength, precision, efficiency, and ability to continuously learn and operate across industrial domains.

Fizyr, Cognibotics and Zivid claim ‘world’s fastest automated bin picking solution’

Fizyr, a provider of vision AI, Cognibotics, a robotics technology developer, and Zivid, a specialist in industrial 3D cameras, have partnered to unveil the world’s fastest automated bin picking solution.

The Cognibotics HKM1800, with the market’s longest reach and fastest bin-to-bin pick and place capabilities, is supported by Zivid’s 2+R-series 3D camera and Fizyr Panoptic, Fizyr’s advanced vision software, to identify and process products, pick priority, grasp position and place verification.

Cyngn signs contract to provide its tugger to another automotive supplier

Cyngn says it will be installing its DriveMod Tugger at a “global Fortune 500 automotive supplier”. The company says this milestone highlights its “growing proven ability to meet the unique demands of the automotive manufacturing industry and deliver innovative autonomous vehicle solutions”. 

The automotive supplier company – whose name is withheld for confidentiality – intends to integrate DriveMod Tuggers to automate the transfer of finished goods.

Cyngn’s solutions continue to provide value within the sector, with this announcement building on the company’s prior commercial contract with a separate, major manufacturer in the automotive service equipment space and a letter of intent that was signed in Q4. MasterMover to debut its new tugger at ProMat 2025

Material handling automation specialist MasterMover will be making another return to ProMat 2025 in Chicago from March 17th to 20th.

The electric tugger manufacturer will be showcasing a ProMat-exclusive live demonstration of its TOW300 tugger AGV in action, visitors won’t want to miss out on witnessing the new generation of material handling technology in action.

Predictions: Ultimation Industries forecasts five material handling trends for 2025

Smart technologies such as robotics, automation and artificial intelligence (AI) in material handling operations are expected to be among the top trends in 2025 for manufacturers, distributors and warehouses in their quest to improve operational efficiency, according to Ultimation Industries.

Ultimation is an MCE company that solves productivity challenges with special purpose machinery and industrial automation equipment systems as well as direct-to-consumer solutions for a broad range of end-markets, including energy, automotive, logistics and vertical farming.

Seegrid ends distribution agreements with Toyota subsidiary in favour of direct sales

Seegrid, a manufacturer of autonomous mobile robot (AMR) solutions for palletized material handling, has decided to terminate its product and distribution agreements with Raymond Corporation, a division of Toyota, effective upon the conclusion of a ninety-day notice period.

Joe Pajer, CEO of Seegrid, says: “This move will allow us to sell and service the full Seegrid-branded product line across all market segments rather than serving a large portion of the market through Raymond.

Media company brings in AGVs from ek robotics to handle supply and disposal of printing machines

More and more companies are relying on automated guided vehicles (AGVs) in intralogistics to increase efficiency and meet challenges such as a shortage of skilled workers.

This is also the case at GGP Media, in Pößneck, Thuringia, which produces high-quality print and digital publications.
