Acieta launches mobile collaborative robotic work cell

November 5, 2020 by David Edwards

Now is an especially challenging time for machine shops facing capacity shortfalls and labor shortages. To address these struggles, Acieta has launched what it says is its “simplest to use, most flexible cobot solution ever” – the FastLoad CX1000 collaborative expandable robotic cell.

To prevent shop equipment from sitting idle, the FastLoad CX1000 is mounted on a mobile platform that one worker can move easily so it can be quickly set up at different machines around the shop.

The system is equipped with a Fanuc 10KG, 120 V collaborative robotic arm to master material handling tasks. It can be outfitted with up to three modular carts to handle a wide variety of parts or allow more parts in the queue. [Read more…] about Acieta launches mobile collaborative robotic work cell

Business Automation With Low-code Platforms

September 1, 2020 by Polly

Low-code platforms offer digital programming tools for designing applications along with their input systems, business logics outputs and other aspects.

But what is low-code platform? It is a software that offers an environment which programmers use to build applications by means of graphical user configurations and interfaces.

The process varies more widely between the several low-code platforms as every platform is created and needed to serve different business needs. [Read more…] about Business Automation With Low-code Platforms

Precision and Convenience: How Robots Are Sustaining Maintenance Beyond Working Lines

August 4, 2020 by Polly

When we think of robotics and automation, the first sight that comes to our mind is that of an industrial production line, where giant robots carry out the high-precision task of assembling products, one step at a time without compromising on efficiency and accuracy.

But as the technology of robotics and automation is becoming much more sophisticated, the uses of robots are expanding from the factory floor to new territories.

One of these new domains is that of maintenance in every industry. Robotics have made concrete inroads in the maintenance department of every aspiring industry and this reach is not unwarranted. 2 Tools to Help Automate Your Sales Process

July 31, 2020 by Polly

Back in the day, sales representatives used to spend all day in the field, exploring leads, looking for potential clients and, well, selling.

Now, a sales rep spends less time in the field and more time completing tedious tasks and non-sales activities.

Further on, research suggests that now, sales reps only spend one-third of their day actually making sales, while the other two-thirds are spent on manual tasks such as writing emails, scheduling meetings, prospecting leads and entering data into the computer.
