Introducing the Field Marking Robot: The Future of Athletic Field Maintenance

October 12, 2022 by Mark Allinson

The Field Marking Robot is a new machine that is designed to help with the maintenance of athletic fields. This machine can quickly and easily mark lines on any field without needing a human operator.

The field marking robot is operated by remote control, which allows the user to select the desired line width and color. The machine then uses GPS to navigate itself around the field while leaving behind a perfectly straight line.

This technology has the potential to revolutionize the way athletic fields are maintained. In the past, field markings were often done by hand, which was both time-consuming and led to inconsistent results. With the Field Marking Robot, those days are now over. Robotics and Health and Safety

October 12, 2022 by Mark Allinson

One of the areas where robotics can make a real difference is in the health and safety world.

Although robotics have their own health and safety challenges, there is o denying that they can and are being used to change the face of health and safety in many workplaces around the world.

When used in conjunction with existing measures like key clamp fittings and hazmat suits, for example, which is why anyone who is interested in improving their health and safety record should be looking at robotics as a solution. [Read more…] about Robotics and Health and Safety

Robotic pets: How to choose and what you should know about them

July 22, 2022 by David Edwards

Communication with pets helps reduce stress levels, distracts from troubles and reduces anxiety. There is even a method of treatment – pet therapy. Four-legged pets make a person move more and expand their social circle – after all, pet lovers will always find common topics for conversation.

Communication with animals is especially useful for older people with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia, for children with mental disorders and for patients who are in the hospital for a long time. Pets save them from loneliness, help overcome depression, reduce anxiety and irritability.

But sick people can’t always get a cat or a dog – they can’t take care of them, and nursing home residents and hospital patients aren’t allowed to keep animals. It’s for such people that they made companion robots. [Read more…] about Robotic pets: How to choose and what you should know about them

5 Ways in Which Robots are Used In Everyday Lives

May 1, 2022 by Mark Allinson

Usage of robots in everyday life used to look futuristic and that too is most commonly in Hollywood movies. When we think about the usage of robots in everyday life, we cannot help but visualize robots in the form of humanoids that carry out tasks just like humans to simplify their life.

With the advancement of technology, robotic application in everyday life is no longer futuristic, it is the truth of the present world. Robots are generally used in everyday life which are considered boring, repeated and dangerous.

Robots were extremely helpful for the experts and now, they not only serve these experts but also the common people. Here are five ways in which robots are used in everyday lives. [Read more…] about 5 Ways in Which Robots are Used In Everyday Lives

How Can Robotics Transform the Upcoming Future?

April 30, 2022 by David Edwards

Robots are changing our daily lives and it is evident in our daily activities. Just think of the time when you go to the gas pump and the pump is self-serving, it is a part of robotics that is making our lives easier.

This was just a simple example of how robots have made an impact on our lives. There are all sorts of robots present all around the world that are making human lives easier.

Robots have made our lives so much easier and in the future, they will continue to do so. Top tech companies are competing against each other to bring such robots into the markets that will make our lives and future very exciting. [Read more…] about How Can Robotics Transform the Upcoming Future?

By Jeff Weiland, LG Business Solutions USA

Ever since the first modern robots were developed in the 1950s, the public’s fascination with autonomous machines has varied from excitement and hope to hesitance and fear, and everything in between.

In the following decades, single-purpose robots began showing up on factory floors and in mailrooms, and average citizens grew more comfortable and familiar with digital technologies forming a central part of home life.

While the dancing, jumping, self-navigating robots of today were still decades away, the controversy then was much the same: workers worried that machines might eliminate their jobs. [Read more…] about Robotic Resources: How Autonomous Technologies Enhance Human Capabilities

7 Robotics Trends to Watch for in 2022

April 11, 2022 by David Edwards

There was a 10 percent global increase in industrial robot usage to over 3 million units in operation in 2020, caused by the pandemic.

At the same time, there was an overall 12 percent market increase for service robots to $6.7 billion with the market for cleaning robots increased by 92 percent.

Since the pandemic is still there as well as there are new global factors, such as the war in Ukraine, we wonder if these trends will continue in 2022. [Read more…] about 7 Robotics Trends to Watch for in 2022

Winter Olympics provide China opportunity to showcase its robots

February 1, 2022 by Mai Tao

The Winter Olympics – or Beijing 2022 – are under way in China, and the country’s roboticists are using it as an opportunity to show off their technologies.

This is not unexpected, of course. Japan used the Summer Olympics to showcase its engineering prowess in the area of vehicle technologies as well as robots.

In fact, there’s probably less robotic showing off going on in Beijing than one might have expected, given that China is now the world’s largest buyer of robots. It’s also now the world’s largest car market, much of which is slowly becoming autonomous. [Read more…] about Winter Olympics provide China opportunity to showcase its robots
