Nowadays, technology evolves quickly. Progress and advances in technology are growing at a far faster rate than ever before. Intelligent new products are invented and developed continually. It can feel almost impossible to keep up with the latest innovations, as there are just so many of them being announced all of the time.

Generally, all these technological advancements have been great news for businesses. It is now easier than ever before for companies to engage with their target audience and market products directly to them using social media. App technology has also meant that businesses have a brand-new and hassle-free way to encourage customers to shop with them or use their services, and this provides more choice and convenience for the customer too.

Technology does not just make our lives easier, although it is incredibly convenient. It also represents significant opportunities for businesses. In general, most consumers embrace technology and see it as a positive tool to enhance their daily life. [Read more…] about How Businesses Can Stay Up-to-Date with the Latest Technology

Automating Performance Metrics: Start with Demand and Inventory Forecasting

January 26, 2021 by David Edwards

By Mike Mills, Director, Business Consulting, Blue Ridge

2021 is the year when companies need earlier insights into new market opportunities, including what items consumers want, on what channel, how much they should stock, and how much they will pay for these products.

The ability to compete in new areas with this level of agility will be the key to unraveling chaos. As e-commerce continues to threaten the market with competitive products that are available nearly instantly, shifting consumer trends can make stocking shelves even more challenging.

Two-thirds of distributors, retailers, and manufacturers report that transportation, labor, and goods were rising more quickly than in previous years. Automation has become a full imperative; Covid has magnified the need. [Read more…] about Automating Performance Metrics: Start with Demand and Inventory Forecasting

January 22, 2021 by Polly

In all honesty, the situation of modern marketing is ironically amusing.

In a world where it’s easier than ever to communicate with each other, it feels like connecting is harder than ever. That’s why you can see businesses doing everything they can to grab the attention of their target audience.

The result is what you see every time you browse the internet: countless ads, overwhelming campaigns, and a plethora of new experimental tactics. Little do these businesses know: the quickest way to reach their customers has always been right under their noses. [Read more…] about Will SMS Still Be Relevant in the Next 5 Years?

Automating the Costly RFQ Process

January 18, 2021 by David Edwards

By Scott Heide, Founder and CEO, Engineering Intent

ETO automation success starts with clear communication of a customer’s requirements. Proposed solutions must meet those requirements. Automating engineering and design steps means simplified management of modifications and nuances to documents.

The automation must similarly extend to the customer. Disputes and disagreements arise when prospects fail to understand fully what is being proposed.

After a configuration is fully (and automatically) configured based on customer inputs, a realistically rendered 3D model, ready for inclusion in detailed proposal documents, eliminates costly mistakes attributable to poor communication. [Read more…] about Automating the Costly RFQ Process

Link Building Outreach: How to Run Successful Outreach Campaigns in 2021

January 15, 2021 by Polly

Link building is a process of creation, augmentation, and spreading of hyperlinks to a website.

The main goal of this process is improving search engine visibility. Hyperlinks (also known as “backlinks” or just “links”) are used to skip from one Internet page to another. Link building is one of the most effective and productive ways of SEO optimization.

It is necessary to differentiate a process of link purchasing from link building. Buying a link can be faster than building it, but a purchased link would not be qualitative enough. [Read more…] about Link Building Outreach: How to Run Successful Outreach Campaigns in 2021
